I am Kelly. I am 28 years young (I'm denying turning 30 soon). I live in northern Indiana amidst the corn fields, farms, and family. I grew up here, the oldest of 4 kids in a church-going family. I graduated with a degree in psychology and have half of my masters completed in professional counseling. I am married to an amazingly handsome, funny, hard-working man… Eric. We've been married 6 years. Together, we are dada and momma to Miles, our one and a half year old. And he's a fun, happy, handful! We are very much looking forward to growing the size of our family. We believe God has placed the blessing of children on our hearts so that we can raise them in the Lord's ways.
I am a daughter and servant of the King, Jesus Christ. I live my life for Him. But I mess up. Thankfully God gives grace and forgiveness. And loves me all the same. He has placed such a passion on my heart for women - reaching out to them to encourage them, help them to know their value in Christ, and to develop friendship and most importantly, their relationship for Christ. For many years I've written a prayer journal, which has inspired me to write this blog as well as start the blog Girls of God's Heart. Both have the purpose of reaching the blogger world for Christ, encouraging others, and growing together.
Hobbies include: playing piano for my church worship team, anything Pinterest-y, taking care of our home, decorating, Starbucks dates with friends, laughing with my family, shopping.
